Now that you know more about who we are and what we do at Glens Falls Karate Academy – let’s work on setting you up for your first visit!
In order to eliminate any obstacles and friction in the enrollment process we want to make sure you have some key information up front. Our three step enrollment application process makes sure you show up for your first visit with all the knowledge you need to make an informed decision, as well as allowing us to tailor your first visit to your interests and highlight the parts of our program that will benefit you most!
Let’s start by checking out the class schedule below and make sure you can be available during the appropriate age group (no adults in the preschool class please).
Just keep in mind that we do limit our class capacity to ensure that our students are receiving the best quality instruction. Which means your first choice in schedule might have a waiting list … we’ll discuss that later on when we’re talking in person though – humble brag, that’s just one of the down sides of having a great program!
As you’ll see below, our classes typically meet twice a week. Either Monday & Wednesday -OR- Tuesday & Thursday. That way we keep an every other day training schedule (best for your body as adults, and best for attention span in kids). Your preference on that schedule might change later on as you see what else we have to offer – but for someone just starting out, we get the best results for students who can commit to training 2x each week (that’s for kids & adults).
As part of your membership you’ll also receive access to program-specific at home planners for those days where life just happens and you need to miss a class or two – we’re also equipped to offer remote virtual classes when necessary (though nothing beats in person classes).

Let’s talk about pricing and membership options!
We believe in clear and upfront pricing – so if cost is the most important factor in your search, you can make your decision right now … however, we believe value is far more important than cost, which is why your first visit is always zero cost and commitment free. Here’s a quick idea of what you can expect from us in black and white.
While you may have an opportunity to participate in additional events or purchase cool gear and equipment – your initial program enrollment and monthly tuition will cover everything you’ll need to get started and be successful in our programs for years to come!
There is no need to commit now; we’ll save that for after your FREE intro lesson so that we can ensure you’re placed in the best possible program first.
Tour our Facility – As we talk to you about what we do, we’ll show you where we do it.
1-on-1 Program Evaluation With our Staff – After the tour we’ll discuss your wants and needs from our program, what inspired you to take up martial arts, and how our programs might benefit you.
View a Live Class – If everything sounds good up to this point you’ll have a chance to meet your instructors, classmates, and get a feel for what being a member of our dojo is like day to day. If everything is going well we’ll even get you out on the dojo floor to participate in class!
Memberships & Training Plan Review – After your intro class we’ll chat again about your experience and decide if we’re a good fit for each other! If so, we’ll get you set up with a membership, fitted for a uniform (gi) & belt, and send you home with a training plan that will take you through our first six weeks together.
