These days, most people spend a lot of hours sitting in front of a computer.

When they go home after work, their minds are already tired. But their bodies are still craving for some physical activity when it’s time for them to go to bed.

Martial arts training lets your body get a nice workout during each class.

At the end of the day, when you get tired, your mind will shut itself down.

Another thing that tends to keep you awake at night is stress.

It is impossible to fall asleep when your mind is wandering somewhere else and filled with distracting thoughts.

Classes at Glens Falls Karate Academy will help you achieve focus and clarity.

It will actually help remove your focus from the things that are making you stressed out.

When you’re sparring, there’s no time for you to worry and think about work.

You have to focus on your partner’s actions so you can defend yourself and counter.

The techniques and drills that you learn in class will help keep your focus.

They will shift your focus away from the things that are bothering you.

Any kind of martial arts training will causes your body to release endorphins such as dopamine.

Dopamine is our body’s natural feel-good drug.

When endorphins are released this also increases our heart rate and breaks a sweat during training.
